the choices are
- fluorescents
- metal halides
- high pressure sodium
bianca has only used fluorescents to date, and the results have been quite nice.
HID's are by far better growing lights, but HIDs cost more up front,
and cost more on the electric bill.

fluorescents -> they're cheap and they get the job done!
