Gardening: setting up
Wise growers set up their growing space before even dreaming of putting the
first seeds in soil or towel. Consider all the factors that need to go into
a good garden. You need to decide what growing medium you will use: which
kind of soil mix, or which kind of hydroponic substrate. You need to
set up your lights and develop your watering system. Everything should
work together well and be easily accessible. You don't want to be fretting
about how to water your babies when they get big; they can sense these things
and it may stunt their growth!
bianca's way
First bianca removed all the clothes from her closet and put them in her
sisters' closet. Then she hung the fluorescent lights with a small chain
from the clothing rod and installed a fan in an easy to move location. After
making sure the fan wasn't too close to where her babies would grow, and that
the reservoirs that would feed the babies their water were easily reached,
After the space was set up, bianca mixed her soil, filled the pots and decided
how many plants would be able to grow in her space. After all this work was
done, she collected her seeds and put them on a damp paper towel with another
damp paper over them. Then she waited and prayed for a few days until, about
9 days later, 6 of 9 seeds split their outer shells. The newly hatched were
then moved to their new homes and the growing commenced..
